Revel Cabinetry was established in 2019. We focus on custom cabinetry and architectural woodwork for residential and commercial projects in the Seattle area. We work with general contractors, architects and individuals on projects from a single vanity to whole-house and restaurant build-outs. For clients that have yet to get their vision on paper, we offer design services that accompany our shop drawings.

Jacob and Krista met while working at a design-build company, where they became friends and hoped to one day become business partners. Jacob took the leap in 2019, when he started Jacob Clapp Woodworking. Krista joined in 2021, and JCW became Revel Cabinetry.

The Team

Jacob has worked several years as a cabinetmaker throughout the Seattle area, building casework and furniture for some of Seattle's most iconic restaurants and bars. Most days, Jacob is out on the shop floor turning sheets of plywood and sticks of lumber into functional and beautiful cabinetry. When not working, he loves to play, watch, and generally geek out on tennis, do crossword puzzles, and study Japanese.

Krista moved to Washington from Wisconsin to begin her woodworking journey at the Port Townsend School of Woodworking. After years of fabrication, she received a certificate in Construction Management from the University of Washington and began working as a construction project manager. She joined Revel in early 2021 and enjoys having her hands in all phases of the projects. Outside of the shop, she enjoys spending time in the mountains and at home with her husband, son, and three cats.
